The Yanjiang Street Industrial Zone lies in the heart of Yanjiang Street. It is 3 km and 5 km away from Nanjing Changjiang River Bridge I & II. The Routine 3 of Nanjing City Tube under planning is only 1 km from it. The industrial zone is passed through by 312, 328 104, and 205 National Highway. For electricity supplies, there have been two 10 KVA electricity lines nearby, and one transformer substation will be established in the south. Nanjing Yuangu Water and Pukou Water will do water supplies for Yanjiang Street, with the daily supply capacity of 20,000 tons and 200,000 tons respectively. The industrial zone has two parts: one is district which has completed its construction. This district lies surrounded by Taifeng road in the west, Puzhou Road in the north, Yongliya Railway in the east and Meihua Mountain in the south. Currently, there are 12 enterprises in this district, occupying an area of 54 hectares. The other part is district under planning; it is in the industrial land which is stipulated in the “controlled particular layout of Qiaobei district of Pukou”, surrounded by Pusi Road in the north, Bingjiang Road in the east and Puzhou Road in the south. Besides, there is also 34 hectares’ City Economy Zone in the Yanjiang Street Industrial Zone. Until June, 2006, 50,000 square meters’ standardized premises can be put into use. The premises, with 2 or 3 levels, are of 20 meters’ wide and 45 to 65 meters’ long. The types of industries in the industrial zone are high-tech, green and without pollution, dominated by scientific industries and accompanying service industries, and they are integrated with R&D, manufacturing, consultation and business.
